Tiny Gardeners Project takes shape

To mark the beginning of the Tiny Gardeners Project we went to Walcha Central School in regional NSW to run a Tiny Gardeners workshop with their year 6 class. Dr James O’Hanlon and Matt McKenzie worked with the class to set up their experiment and talked about all the ecosystem services that ants provide. We documented the progress to give an insight into how the Tiny Gardeners Project works and what the project is all about.

Thanks to Thalgarrah Environmental Education Centre for leading the development of the Tiny Gardeners Project educational materials and the Environmental and Zoo Education Centres NSW network for their support in sharing the word about the Tiny Gardeners Project. And a great big thanks to David Waugh for producing the video, you can see more of his work here.
